Snow at Turf Moor

Burnley began the day 18th in the Premier League with Tottenham in seventh

Burnley’s Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur at Turf Moor was postponed 50 minutes before kick-off because of heavy snow.

The game was due to start at 14:00 GMT but despite attempts to make the pitch playable it was called off at 13:10.

Referee Peter Bankes said: “They worked as hard as they could but within 10 minutes the pitch was covered again.”

Burnley manager Sean Dyche added: “It fell that quickly and heavily – it’s still quite strong now.”

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte said: “There is a bit of disappointment because we were ready to play but at the same time I think the Premier League has made the right decision to save the situation for the players and fans.

“In these conditions it is not football. I want to have fun. In this situation it is impossible and there is a serious risk for the players.”

Recoup Records announces the forthcoming release of “JO,” the new single from rising Afro-fusion artist YTJ, arriving on all major digital streaming platforms September 10, 2026.

The release follows the growing international success of YTJ’s previous single, “Closer,” which has generated more than 4 million combined YouTube views and surpassed 3 million audio streams within two months of release. The record has also received airplay across more than 70 radio stations and 30 television channels worldwide, while reaching No. 63 on YouTube Music in Nairobi, Kenya.

With “JO,” YTJ enters the next phase of his sound and creative direction.

Driven by infectious rhythm, vibrant production and an unmistakable celebratory energy, “JO” is an Afro-fusion record built for movement. The single pairs YTJ’s melodic approach with a polished, high-energy production designed to connect across clubs, parties, festivals and playlists globally.

The visual world surrounding the release reflects that same energy. Built around a striking red-lit aesthetic, the “JO” campaign presents a confident and elevated side of YTJ as he continues to expand his presence beyond his home market and reach new audiences internationally.
