Cardi B Drags The Heck Out of Nicki Minaj On Instagram, Reveals Texts And Deals Receipts, After Nicki Airs Out More Drama From Fashion Week On Queen Radio [Videos]

Published

on

The beef between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B continues, as Nicki releases more information about the Fashion Week brawl.

Even though it’s been seven weeks since the infamous clash between Nicki, Cardi and Nicki’s friend Rah Ali, the story is still being aired out. The first topic Nicki addressed was how Cardi received the knot on her head after the fight. Rumors were that a security guard accidentally hit Cardi in the midst of the fight but Nicki says it was Rah Ali who left the injury.

“Rah beat you so bad, I was mad at Rah. You went home and told people security hit you, and we let that ride for legal reasons,” said Nicki. Ali is a former member of Love and Hip Hop New York and one of Nicki’s close friends. Nicki claims Rah hurt Cardi so bad that she didn’t want Rah to mention that it was her for fear that she would face a potential lawsuit.

“Ra held her head and punched her like eight, nine times, and I could hear it, I’m talking like the hardest punch you’ve ever heard in your life.” Nicki added that there is footage of the altercation. “There is no way I can lie about this because there is surveillance footage from the building where the assault took place,” she said. “Anyone that want to put up the surveillance footage, I will give you $100,000. Pull up that surveillance footage.”

Nicki also mentioned Cardi’s sister, Hennessy Carolina, is wrong for believing Nicki leaked Cardi’s phone number, Nicki’s fans leaked Cardi single “Money,” and that she should stop bringing her up altogether. “What type of bird s— you on, bitch? I didn’t leak your number. Stop lying on me,” she retorted. “You can’t lie on me, leaking numbers. Now you know the truth. Your big sister came home and lied to you, now what?”

In the end, Nicki says she is happy to put this beef behind her. “I’m perfectly fine with never talking about this again. I’m perfectly fine with never bringing this up again if you never bring this up again,” she said, later adding, “I think we can agree to have disagreed on a few things. I don’t look at you as my enemy. Let’s move past it.”

However, Cardi isn’t quite ready to throw the towel in. Later in the evening, the Bronx native took to Instagram to share her side of the story on the “Motorsport” ordeal, she and sister’s numbers being leaked, the Fashion Week brawl, stopping bags and more. “You out here saying that I’m trying to stop your bag. But I’m actually helping you get a bag, because that Diesel deal that you got, yeah that came to me first. I had to decline it because I’m already working with fashion brands. That “Woman Like Me” record, yeah, I had to decline it because I’m doing a lot of pop records – that came to me first and then they gave it to you,” said Cardi. Cardi went on about more rumors in 10 different videos, followed by receipts to back her claims.

In the meantime, Nicki has responded via Twitter, calling for a lie detector test, all while accusing Cardi of not writing her raps.

Meet the Man Who Turned Hype Into a Science: Emmy Blaq, Nigeria’s G.O.A.T. of Hype

Published

on

If you have ever been at a Nigerian event and found yourself on your feet before the main act even stepped on stage, there is a good chance a hype man was responsible. But not just any hype man. Emmy Blaq, born Ikechukwu Emmanuel Chima and raised in Auchi, Edo State, has spent the last few years quietly becoming the most talked-about name in that profession, and the Nigerian press has taken notice. Punch, Vanguard, The Guardian Nigeria, The Nation, and Independent Newspaper have all sat down with him, and every conversation leads back to the same thing: this man does not just make noise; he makes moments.
What makes Emmy Blaq different is the journey behind the energy. Before the stages, the collaborations with Waje on her “Waje 2.0” album, DJ Consequence, and DJ Kaywise on the massively streamed “Joor Party Mix” series, he was repairing generators, cutting hair, and sewing clothes in Auchi. His first professional hype gig happened at a local fast food spot called Valchi, and the crowd response that night changed everything. He told The Nation directly: “My passion for entertainment and desire to make people happy led me into the craft.” Punch also captured his bigger mission when he said that hype men deserve more than what they currently earn, a statement that sparked a real conversation across Nigerian entertainment circles.
With over 1.7 million TikTok followers, 23.6 million TikTok likes, a viral “Wife Material” challenge that landed on Pulse Nigeria’s top ten social media moments of 2021, and an international performance at the Cameroon International Music Festival that Cameroonian media described as electrifying, Emmy Blaq is not building toward something. He is already there. The G.O.A.T. of Hype is not a title he gave himself and hoped would stick. It is one the rooms keep confirming every single time he grabs the mic.
