MTV Video Music Awards – Kendrick Lamar was the biggest winner of Sunday night at the 2017 MTV VMAs, where he took six of the eight categories he was nominated in.

The MTV Video Music Awards, which was filled with political speeches, was held at The Forum in Los Angeles, US.

Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘XO TOUR Llif3’ beat Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’ remix featuring Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber to win song of the summer, despite the latter’s popularity.

Khalid was named best new artiste while Kanye West won an award for best choreography.

Katy Perry and The Weeknd who were the most nominated artistes after Lamar, with five each, didn’t receive any award.
