VIDEO: Mr 2Kay Ft. Seyi Shay & Cynthia Morgan – Bad Girl Special Remix (Studio Session)
“Grafton Records’ artiste, Mr. 2Kay has today, February 17, unveiled Cynthia Morgan and Seyi Shay as the mystery female artistes who are featured on his much anticipated “Bad Girl Special Remix”. According to the ‘Waterside Boy’, “it is only proper for me to unmask the girls today, considering the fact that the song will officially be released in 3-days”.
Mr. 2Kay’s “Bad Girl Special Remix” (#BGSRemix) featuring dancehall sensation – Cynthia Morgan and quintessential singer, Seyi Shay, takes the original version, featuring Patoranking to another level. Fans will get to hear the ladies’ side of this musical story.
With the buzz and attention Cynthia and Seyi are enjoying presently in their outstanding music careers, it was only proper for 2Kay to have them on this beautiful remix.
Cynthia has enjoyed a great deal of attention since she joined Jude Okoye’s Northside Music in 2013. The dynamic performer has, in less than two years, shown that she can sing, rap and make dancehall music. Little wonder she performed at the Headies, OLIC and other big events in 2014.
Seyi Shay on the other hand, has blown minds since she moved back into the country about three years ago. The singer who was first heard on Sound Sultan’s “Fashi Yesterday”, has continued to outdo her previous feats. From “No Lele”, “Loving Your Way” to “Irawo”, “Murda” and up to her latest single, “Crazy” featuring Wizkid.
The track was remixed and originally produced by Ayzed.
Commenting on the coming song, the CEO of Grafton Records, Tonye Ibiama said, “The wait is actually over; we just need a few hours more to tidy a few things, before we serve the musical meal that Mr. 2Kay has cooked with the help of these beautiful girls.”

This NNPC Retail Post Raised More Questions Than It Answered

So I was scrolling earlier and stopped on this NNPC Retail flyer because it’s literally just a big question mark and a line that says “66 Reasons Why You Need To Watch This Space.” Nothing else. No context, no explanation, just vibes and mystery.
It also speaks to our Naija slang and banter (the “Omo,” “Gbas Gbos,” and “Sapa” ones had me laughing).
It’s part of their ongoing “66 Reasons Why We Love Naija” series, so it seems to be leading up to something for October 1st. What they are clear about is that you need the NNPC Fuel App to be in the loop. They describe it as fast, secure, reliable, and rewarding, and they’ve made it easy with a QR code you can scan straight from the post.
If they’re trying to build hype, it’s working on me. SCAN THE BAR CODE HERE.
