Ayomide Taiwo better known as Midey is a Rapper and a true Lyricist. He was born in Ebute-Meta west of Lagos Mainland but had his Formative years In Ikorodu.
Midey  wasn’t a mere child prodigy, he was one with a dream and determination, he discovered rap music when he was just under the age of ten. And over the years he has nurtured this dream and kept the flame burning.

Upon the release of his first Singles “Owo” and “Love You Die”, many could not stop but compare him with Olamide.

Although he wouldn’t want to be compared with anyone, “I am different. Respect me for me”.  He would say.

There is no doubt Olamide’s music influenced him growing up, so did the works of MI, Dagrin, Reminisce, D’Banj and a few others.
So we can say he is a cocktail of so many artistes.

With over 30 Original tracks recorded in the studio and still recording,
Midey decides to put together a mix tape as a prelude to the release of his Album,to be released later this Year,

Signed onto Halcyon Records, fondly referred to as THE HALCYON EMPIRE or T.H.E, Midey is set to take the Nigerian Music Scene by Storm.

This Mix-tape is a testimony of the Talents that Abounds in this Young Chap.
