Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Were Fighting Prior to West’s Hospitalization, Sources Reveal
On November 21, after a lengthy controversial rant followed by the cancellation of his tour, Kanye West was hospitalized due to extreme exhaustion. Sources revealed that the “Famous” rapper had also been suffering from paranoia and depression, which stemmed from his belief that people were trying to destroy his relationship with his wife, Kim Kardashian. Although, Kim has made her husband and his health her main priority, despite still dealing with her own emotions post-Paris robbery, it seems the couple’s relationship had been on the rocks prior to West’s recent episode. According to US Weekly, since the October 3rd incident in Paris, “it’s just been hell for them,” a source told the publication. While, Kim coped with the emotional turmoil of the robbery, Kanye went off to complete his 63-date Saint Pablo Tour; without her.
“The trauma of the incident made her more hesitant to do things,” the source said of Kim’s reluctance to accompany West. “Of course it strained their relationship, because she hadn’t seen him.”
At the time, she wanted to be comforted and supported by her husband, as she had done countless times for him. However, that was not the case. Sources say, when West was home, instead of making up for lost time with his wife, he would work and rant, making it hard for Kim to deal with him.
“He would be up all night ranting about things,” a source close to the rapper said. “They were fighting because he was impossible to live with.”
So, the stress of the couple’s troubled relationship, amid the aftermath of the Paris robbery had West on edge.
“The mere thought of his wife being taken from him was too much — it was like his mother’s death,” a source told Us Weekly. “Seeing Kim close to death did a major number on him. It sent him into a tailspin.”
Although, West’s outburst took a toll on Kimye’s marriage, Kim stepped up and took control of the situation. She ran to West’s bedside in his hard time. Sources say, “she thinks this is what it will take to save him — and help their marriage.”
