Kareem Hafeez Oluwaseyi,  a Pro Disk-jockey born 27th of November, 1996. The last born in a family of two(2).Indigene of Lagos state, Epe Local Government. A B.sc holder in Business Administration(2016), he finished his NYSC program in the year 2017.
On March 13th,2017 (exactly a month he left NYSC camp) which was on a Monday, he was off to his PPA(state secretariat, Abeokuta). He Got to work, settled down and was prepared for work that day even though there wasn’t much work. Few hours later (2-3hrs) he discovered a change in his temperature so Ihe complained to the Secretary and also requested if he could go home and treat himself cause he felt it was malaria. On getting home (Abeokuta), he called his mom and texted his Dad informing them that he’ll be coming to Ota because he wasn’t feeling too good. So he took off, he got to Sango Ota, from Sango Ota he took a bike going to Olosun. He woke up at the hospital the following day with his leg hanged. He was told the bike he took collided with a truck.
He spent close to six (6) months at the Federal Medical Centre Abeokuta. The first four (4) months, the doctors were trying all they could to save the leg cause it was already infected, but after several antibiotics without the result they were expecting, they decided to amputate my right leg so as to save his precious Life.
Life is full of surprises, he never thought he would lose a limb but you know as a true believer, we are meant to believe that anything that happens to us in this Life has already been destined. If you’ve lost a limb and you can see this, please be strong, for your parents and for your family. Thinking about the lost limb wouldn’t bring it back. Take it off your mind, do what you love doing most and most importantly make money because you need funds to get sophisticated artificial limb to replace what you’ve lost, and remember to always say to yourself “I DON’T HAVE DISABILITIES, I HAVE DIFFERENT ABILITIES, happy international disability day.
