GLOxTheVillageHeadmaster Episode 28… Unwelcome News

There has been a drastic turn of events in the 28th episode of the Globacom-sponsored drama series, The Village Headmaster as Oja Village has been thrown into mourning.
The cold hand of death has struck again and this time it was sure not to miss a beat. It has taken the mother of the land, leaving the people of Oja motherless. As news of Iyalode’s death spread throughout Oja Village, people couldn’t help but remember her motherly love. As a show of respect, Kabiyesi declared a few days’ mourning period and ordered the closure of all stores and the cancellation of all events in Oja Village.
The Kabiyesi’s decree comes at a time when major events are set to hold in Oja Village. One of such is the scheduled football tournament between Oja Community School and Jebako School. In response to Kabiyesi’s decree, the Headmaster asked Teacher Iginla to communicate the situation in Oja Village to the football coach at Jebako School and request for a reschedule of the game. It appears that Teacher Iginla is dissatisfied with the Headmaster yet again, and this time, it may be because he wasn’t named school football coach. Will Teacher Iginla reschedule the tournament as instructed or will he let his grievances hinder him from fulfilling the task assigned to him? Will the tournament proceed as planned in spite of the Kabiyesi’s order?
Teacher Fadele suddenly finds himself at a crossroad. On the one hand, he is delighted to be the newest grandfather in Oja Village and as tradition demands the new baby’s naming ceremony will have to be done at his home. However, with Kabiyesi’s decree, he is left at a loss. Should he uphold tradition or obey Kabiyesi’s decree in honour of Iyalode? How will Teacher Fadele resolve this dilemma? Or will he move the ceremony to his son’s house in town?

In the meantime, Teacher Idemudia and Teacher Iginla seem to have dug a deep hole for themselves, as Madam Gbeke and Madam Doyin charge to their offices in a state of fury. following Teacher Iginla’s decision to give Madam Folake the canteen manager position. Unable to get a resolution from the teachers involved, they decided to take the matter to the palace, where they made their complaints to Kabiyesi and the Headmaster. To the Headmaster’s shock, it was revealed they had paid processing fees to the teachers to secure the job. Kabiyesi has tasked the Headmaster with resolving the issue, but can he find the right solution for the parties involved?
