GLOxTheVillageHeadmaster Episode 25 … The Concert
The Village Headmaster drama series’ reboot is sponsored by Globacom, the leading telecommunications service operator in Nigeria. As the series steadily approaches its 25th episode, strange speculations have begun to swirl around Oja Village. And what’s more, a new superstar is about to emerge.
During a moment of drinks and relaxation at Madam Gbeke’s bar, Lakunle and Prince Adeniyi may have given ‘Small Radio Oja’ more information than they probably should have. As the two discuss the plans for Oja Village’s autonomy and other topics, Lakunle redirects the Prince’s attention to his current love interest, Teacher Ese. He however made a loaded statement with Madam Gbeke perfectly positioned to digest the information for gossip. What did Lakunle really mean with the statement? Will Prince Adeniyi refute or confirm Lakunle’s statement? It will be interesting to see how Madam Gbeke shares the latest news that had just fallen into her laps. Or will she restrain herself from sharing false news this time around?
Nasir is on the run! It seems as if the advice given to Nasir to focus on his education and leave music fell on deaf ears. A search party, led by Abubakar and the village Headmaster soon turned successful as Nasir was safely returned home to his mother. He was however put on the spot to face reckoning for his actions. But it seems a deal was struck between Nasir and his family, a deal which was to grant him the full support of his family if he upheld his side of the bargain. What were the conditions of this agreement and will all parties involved hold up their end of the deal? On the other hand, the Village Headmaster urged Abubakar to be present at the school’s concert coming up soon. Does this concert have anything to do with arrangements made for Nasir?
There seems to be fire on the mountain for Teacher Iginla as he gets an invite to the Headmaster’s office. While discussions were going on about the upcoming plans for the students’ activities, the Headmaster asked about the water project funds which Teacher Iginla had transferred to his personal account, allegedly for safekeeping. The Headmaster appreciated the teacher’s smart thinking but however asked him to make a reversal of the funds back to the school’s account. There are a lot of questions: Did Teacher Iginla really transfer the funds to his account for safekeeping? Or could have made use of it for other personal projects? Can he make the reversal without issue? We will just have to wait and find out…
