The Headies Awards 2015 Full Nominees List, Olamide, Wizkid, Lead Nomination List

Olamide is top of the nomination table this year with eight nods, with Wizkid following closely with 7.

The Headies have unveiled the nominees of the 10th Headies Awards.

Olamide is top of the nomination table this year with eight nods including – Best Pop single, Rap Album, Best Collaboration (twice), Best Street-Hop Artiste, Album of the Year, Artiste of the Year, and Song of the Year.

Following closely is Wizkid, who has seven nominations in Recording of the Year, Best RnB/Pop Album, Best Pop Single, Best Collabo, Album of the Year, Artiste of the year, and Song of the Year.

Contending for one of the biggest awards of the night – Artiste of the year are Olamide,Davido, Wizkid,Yemi Alade, and P-Square.

The highly prized Next Rated category will see Reekado Banks, Kiss Daniel, Korede Bello, Cynthia Morgan and Lil’ Kesh slug it out.

Other new nominees at the Headies are Falz The Bahd Guy, Mr. 2Kay, Small Doctor, Ugovinna, Di’Ja, Shaydee, Simi and Aramide.

The Hall of Fame Award which has celebrated industry heavy weights like Obi Asika, Kenny Ogungbeand D1, Philip Trimnell, Grand Master Lee, FAJ, and a host of others shall be inducting Pop super star, Innocent ‘2Face’ Idibia.

The list which is comprised of 21 categories sees a competitive blend of the relevant acts, and new artistes battling for a piece of Nigeria’s premiere music awards.

Nigerian comedian and content creator Josh2Funny has taken his comedy game into music, and Nigerians are definitely having something to say about it.

The comedian released his 15-track album, “On Behalf of Josh,” on July 10, 2026, but instead of fading away after release, the project has continued to generate conversations on X.

And the big question now is:

Should Josh2Funny continue with music or go back to skits? 😂

Fans have been divided. While some listeners openly criticized the album and told him to return to comedy, others found songs they genuinely enjoyed.

One X user joked:

“Josh2Funny stopped doing skits and started music, Everybody wan chop this music money 😂”

Another simply said:

But then came “Lembe.” 🔥
