Nigerian singer-songwriter Tems and Afrobeats superstar Wizkid bagged wins at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 27th, 2023.

iHeart Media and Fox Entertainment announced the winners for the 2023 iHeart Music Awards, with Tems receiving the Hip-Hop Song of the Year award for her collaborative work on Future‘s “Wait For U.” Tems and Wizkid were both awarded the “Afrobeats Artist of the Year” title, surpassing notable contenders like Burna Boy, CKay, and Fireboy DML.

The ceremony was hosted by popular singer and actor Lenny Kravitz, and the show was broadcast live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, March 27 on FOX.
