Nigerian man tackles singer Lojay for saying Nigeria is where it is today because "our parents? generation were and still are extremely ignorant"

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to tackle singer Lojay for saying Nigeria is where it is  today because “our parents’ generation were and still are extremely ignorant.”

Lojay had in his tweet claimed that the EndSARS and Mohbad’s death old generation parents are ignorant. He added that the way some of them talk and act in extreme situations baffles him.

Lojay had tweeted;

“End Sarz and this Mohbad situation have shown me that Nigeria is where it is today because our parents’ generation were and still are extremely ignorant. The way some of them talk and act in extreme situations like these will never stop baffling me.”

Reacting to the claim, a Nigerian man recalled how he and his age group faced guns and were locked up. The man who reiterated that he is not coward, also recalled how he was allegedly locked up at Elere for writing an anti-Abacha article and circulating it around secondary schools.

He tweeted;

“Says the son of a coward. We faced guns! We were locked up! Dele Giwa was bombed while eating Akara. @RGAMeyer was murdered for fighting the junta. Many had to flee into exile. I was locked up at Ẹlẹ́rẹ̀ for writing an anti-Abacha article and circulating it around secondary schools. I probably am your father’s age or older. I was not a coward like him. We read TELL magazine and Newswatch. Your crassly ignorant generation is on sponsored characters. Next time just refer to the dolts that had the guts to birth your brainless self.”
