Davido’s Producer Shizzi Lands Record Deal With Sony Music
Gbagbe Oshi! Davido erstwhile producer Shizzi joins him in Sony Music. Davido made this revelation during his radio/media tour, that Shizzi who also produced his latest jam Gbagbe Oshi also inked a record deal music giants Sony Music.
This news was given out during a live radio chat with popular OAP DO2dtun, at Cool FM Lagos.
The ‘Dami duro’ crooner revealed this during his media rounds at Cool FM Lagos studio, while speaking with presenter DO2dtun about Shizzi producing his new single ‘Gbagbe Oshi’ off his recently released EP “Son Of Mercy”.
“He just signed his deal with Sony, and is now based in the US“.
Davido also talked about how conducive it is to work in America, say it’s calmer over there. He also said he will still be in Nigeria until November.
OBO also made a stop at Beat FM to chill out with OAP Toolz. He gave insights on what to expect from his new album which will drop next year.
The “Gbagbe Oshi” crooner said he is happy with the reception his latest single is getting. He subtly bragged that he never disappoints.
Information is that a bunch of American stars will be featured on his sopH0more album.
He lists Usher, Sre Rremmurd, DJ Snake, Young Thug, Popcaan, Rock City among others as the featured artists on his forthcoming album.
Davido expressed his amazement on being on the same record label with Wizkid. He explains that he is a buddy to Wizkid, and their cool like that.
When questioned about signing a female act to his label, Davido quickly responded he would have loved to sign singing sensation Simi.
Finally OBO said he was most thrilled to have Usher featured on his album. He made mention of watching and listening to the American music star Usher as a kid.
