Fast rising guitarist Abodunrin Opeyemi Jacob popularly known as Opjakes or Bearded Guitarist has been playing guitar for many years but shot to the attention of many when he featured as a guitar player on Oxlade’s project which includes the popular “Away” track.
Lead guitarist of the Ohemgeeband and The Voice Nigeria Season 3, this music technology graduate also studied Entrepreneurship and Business Management at the National Open University.
All these experiences have further sharpened his mindset while allowing his talent as a musician to evolve fully into the skills of production.
Passionate about the music he was creating and hungry to embark on producing his debut EP, he has enlisted the talents of Moelogo, Elhi, Ceeboi, Macjrez and Kollydee. They feature on a project that takes us through the highs and lows of loves’ journey surrounded by sweet and smooth vibes.
The bearded guitarist is a favourite with producers in the industry including Spax, TUC, Kris beat, Tiwezi, TMXO, Sarz just to mention a few.
Over the years Opjakes has also worked with many well-known artists, blessing our ears with his distinctive emotive guitar sounds.

Afrobeats artist Sharpsix has released his new EP, “Rhythm of Love,” out now on all major streaming platforms through Spectrapals Entertainment.
