Ismail Usman Abiola popularly known as Ajaxxo is a contemporary afro-pop singer with a strong traditional background. Ajaxxo was born on the 7th of January 2003 in Ibadan where he attended both primary and secondary. Ajaxxo started off as a rapper in his high school junior year before he then started singing and performing free of charge at minibars and various music showcases in Lagos and. In 2021 Ajaxxo caught the attention of Raph records CEO at a music contest in Lagos and signed him. Since then Ajaxxo has been and out of the studio working on mind-blowing sounds.
After prom is Ajaxxo’s debut project which focuses on Ajaxxo’s transition from high school to the real world in relation to love, money, and women. “Answer” is the lead single off the Ep. It is a mid-tempo afro bounce sound produced by Tayoristar and it talks about the depth of love he has for a particular woman hoping she gets to be with her. Pami, produced also by Tayoristar and Bella, produced by Rore explores Ajaxxo’s love fantasies as a young teenager. Like you better is a mature afrobeat cross-over vibe. This particular tune appreciates the typical woman’s natural beauty. It was produced by Cracker Mallo.
