Singer/songwriter Credo is an Australian based Nigerian artist who has been in the music scene background for a very long time.
Credo upcoming single Ololufe would be his first release after a long break from music, the song is an expression of love and excitement and aims to heal the world with love through music.
Background:
Born in imo state/raised in Kano state Nigeria, Credo started music at early age of nine where he use radio cassette and recorder to record and listen to himself alongside his teen peers. The encouragement and excitement from his peers whilst singing encouraged him to further develop his talent as a song writer at the age of 13.
Credo participated in various music contests and performances in Kano state and a regular performing act at the British council audition Kano state. He also participated in the Nigerian idol, MTN project fame and X-factor. As a young talent, Credo passion for afrobeat music was inspired by Legendary Fela Kuti, backed by the soulful harmonies of Lagbaja. With early steps this well formed, it is safe to say Credo is definitely an artist to watch out for as he progresses on.
