After releasing the 3-pack single Calypso last year, rising singer Declan Jero is back with his first song this year, Shampepe.
Produced by Eardrums and popular producer Spellz (whose impressive catalogue includes Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido), Shampepe is an instant summertime tune that will inspire you to hit the club and live lavishly.
The groovily energetic amapiano tune opens with Declan Jero in the mood to live it up and requesting for the bartender. He goes on to call on the ladies while expressing his lack of interest in anything that will dampen his vibe. “Girl it’s time to party, and your body’s calling. Baby, no dey dull me,” chants Declan Jero.
