Yung Willis – Happy ft. Mr Eazi
Born Daniel Williams & popularly known by his world famous tagline “Wi Wi Wi Willis Give Dem” (sometimes spelt as “Giddem), Hit record producer Yung Willis is officially releasing the sophomore single off his long awaited debut album; “Life of the Party”. The single is titled ”Happy” and features the Nigerian Singer and Superstar business mogul, Mr Eazi.
While the debut single off this body of work titled “Givin Dem” (which is a self acknowledging allusion to his signature production tag) had been released in April last year feat. Timaya & Kabusa Oriental Choir, Happy is Yung Willis’s vocal unveiling to the world since he didn’t actually vocalize or perform on ”Givin Dem”. On this record, he shows his impressive song writing skills as well as his natural ability as a singer & performer. He blends his refreshing style with Mr Eazi’s trademark cool & sleek delivery. The song as the title depicts is essentially a feel good Happy song intended to put anyone listening to it in a better & more jovial mood.
Just like the many hit records that the sonic maestro has produced for other African superstars including Timaya, Falz, BNXN, Yemi Alade, Patoranking, Niniola as well as Foreign Artistes like Indian Songstress; Kanika Kapoor, and Grammy Award Winning American Rapper; Ludacris. Yung Willis most recently produced LCND (Legends Can Never Die) on Davido’s new album.
With Happy, Willis has finally decided to share his artistry and produce one hit record for himself. But it’s only the beginning he assures as there’s plenty where this one came from.
According to him, before he became a producer, he was always “The Life of the Party”, but music production made his beats the life of his party instead. He shares further that “I am now in a very Happy Place & I want to encourage everyone to be Happy by becoming the life of the party. The star studded album features artists like BNXN, JoeBoy, Liya, Falz, Zlatan amongst others and Yung Willis promises he’s bringing “Hits Only that’ll make people party like it’s 99”.

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Nino De Brown returns with a new single, “Money,” featuring
Rhapsodic Records artist and producer Sholex Timbo On “Money,”
Nino De Brown takes on one of the most universal subjects in modern life: the desire for financial success and everything that comes with it. Rather than presenting wealth simply as a symbol of luxury, Nino De Brown uses the record to explore the complicated emotions behind wanting money, needing money, and understanding what money cannot provide.
The song immediately establishes its theme with the memorable refrain:
“Money no dey buy happiness, I know am
But still I want am
Money be the root of all evil, I hear am
But still I want am”
Those lines capture the central contradiction of the record. People may understand that money cannot guarantee happiness, peace, love, or fulfillment, yet the desire for financial freedom remains powerful.
Nino De Brown approaches the subject from a deeply relatable perspective, turning everyday ambitions into an infectious Afrobeats record. His melodic delivery gives the song an easygoing quality, while the lyrics carry a more reflective message underneath the rhythm.
“Money” speaks to the realities of wanting to improve one’s circumstances, support loved ones, achieve personal goals, and enjoy the opportunities that financial success can bring. Adding to the record is Sholex Timbo, a newly signed artist and producer under Rhapsodic Records, who contributes as a featured artist and produced the song. His production provides the rhythmic foundation for Nino De Brown’s performance while adding another layer to the collaboration.
Ultimately, “Money” remains a Nino De Brown record at its core an honest, melodic and infectious reflection on ambition, desire and the realities of chasing financial success.
