Bisi Akande’s Book Was Written To Promote Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition – Bode George
Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George has said that former Governor of Osun state, Bisi Akande’s recently released book was written to promote former Governor of Lagos state and national leader of All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition.
Bode George who had earlier asked Akande to withdraw the book which he described as “shameful”, said in an interview on Arise TV that the former Governor of Osun state attempted to “bring everybody down” while promoting Tinubu.
He also noted that the book was released a few weeks to 2022, which he said is “the year of politics in this country”.
George said;
“All he said in the book, the only man he was praising and didn’t condemn was Bola Tinubu. Do you think that is not political? Tinubu has thrown his hat into the ring that he wants to contest [for the presidency in 2023], and so he must bring everybody else down and start promoting him.
“Today is December 20, and in another month, we will be heading into the new year in another week. And that is the year of politics in this country. What an appropriate time to now open up a pandora box, demonising some leaders and elders and the only man you can see and praise is your brother [ Tinubu]. Why did he come and launch the book in Lagos — he has never had anything to do with Lagos — if not to promote Tinubu?”

Josh2Funny’s Album Has Fans Talking — But Should He Stick To Music Or Skits? 😂🎶
Nigerian comedian and content creator Josh2Funny has taken his comedy game into music, and Nigerians are definitely having something to say about it.
The comedian released his 15-track album, “On Behalf of Josh,” on July 10, 2026, but instead of fading away after release, the project has continued to generate conversations on X.
And the big question now is:
