VIDEO: Mr 2Kay feat. Cynthia Morgan & Seyi Shay – Bad Girl Special (Remix)
Grafton Entertainment is proud to unveil the official video for “Bad Girl Special Remix” by Mr. 2Kay featuring Cynthia Morgan and Seyi Shay. The video was premiered on MTV Base last week, followed by several other cable and terrestrial music channels across Nigeria, Africa and the UK.
Mr. Tonye Ibiama, CEO of Grafton Records decided to release the video today, as the label could no longer handle the pressure from fans of Mr. 2Kay and lovers of the song. In his words, “The demand for the video on social media and the mainstream was overwhelming and convincing. Our original plan was to release the video two weeks away, but it’s all good.”
The video which was shot and directed by the genius, Clarence Peters showcases an interesting storyline that in turn reveals the acting skills of Cynthia Morgan and Seyi Shay. This is a music video that projects another unique skill of these singers.
Cynthia Morgan and Mr. Kay would hold your attention from the beginning of the video and lead you to another scene where Seyi Shay would dare to out-do Cynthia, as she shares a steaming moment with ‘bad boy’, 2Kay. Both girls would later meet at a concert where 2Kay is billed to perform and then… you really want to see the outcome yourself.
Mr. 2Kay is probably one of the most popular names in the news lately, as his song – “Bad Girl Special Remix” keeps drawing various forms of attention to him. The song has already circulated all the major chart shows in the country and the weight of airplay is off the hook.
“I just want to thank everybody; from my brother, Patoranking to the beautiful Seyi Shay, the amazing Cynthia Morgan and of course, the DJs, blogs, TV and radio stations. I can never leave out the fans; without them, I would never ever be where I am today. God bless you all.”

So I was scrolling earlier and stopped on this NNPC Retail flyer because it’s literally just a big question mark and a line that says “66 Reasons Why You Need To Watch This Space.” Nothing else. No context, no explanation, just vibes and mystery.
It also speaks to our Naija slang and banter (the “Omo,” “Gbas Gbos,” and “Sapa” ones had me laughing).
It’s part of their ongoing “66 Reasons Why We Love Naija” series, so it seems to be leading up to something for October 1st. What they are clear about is that you need the NNPC Fuel App to be in the loop. They describe it as fast, secure, reliable, and rewarding, and they’ve made it easy with a QR code you can scan straight from the post.
If they’re trying to build hype, it’s working on me. SCAN THE BAR CODE HERE.
