Ashley Williams’s 74th-minute strike gave Swansea a shock 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners headed into the game hoping to bounce back from their chastening 3-2 defeat to Manchester United at the weekend but their title bid was dealt another damaging blow, as the Swans came from behind to record a stunning victory.
Wayne Routledge equalised after Joel Campbell had opened the scoring in north London, and Williams completed the comeback with 16 minutes remaining, giving the Welsh side a huge boost in their bid to avoid relegation.
