Dating can be pretty tough for men and women, especially after a break-up. At times, you find yourself comparing your ex to others and end up missing out on someone special. What if that special person was staring you in the face the entire time? What if your prince charming is also your coworker?

There are often times that we find a coworker attractive but don’t know if it’s wise to mix business with pleasure. Of course, there are pros and cons of taking your copy room action to the next level. Ask yourself, “Am I mentally ready for this kind of relationship?”

Lets be honest, your copy room action can go one of two ways. Your coworker could be your perfect match and things could really take off. Then again, things could blow up in your face and now everyone at work knows you’re banging Jack or Janet from accounting. While, you may have a few office rendezvous, how long will they last before things go left?

If you are going to pursue a relationship with a coworker, you two have to set some ground rules that you both can agree to.

Always stay professional within the work place. Don’t let your feelings get in the way when they communicate with other coworkers of the opposite sex. Always maintain an open line of communication, so things don’t get confusing.

But, remember there is always a strong chance that your relationship issues will boil over into the workplace and next thing you know, someone is getting fired. So, it’s always better to play it safe.

No matter how bad you need to be laid or want to be in a relationship, the workplace may not be the perfect idea. You do not want to set yourself up for pain or heartbreak. What if you two don’t work out? What if they move on to the next coworker? The last thing you need is tension at work and I am not talking about sexual frustration. Work attraction may be good for the bedroom but not so good for the soul.

Have you ever pursued a relationship at work? How did it turn out?
